Helpful and amiable staff, had good stay!!!
We were pleased to find neat and soundproof rooms at this good budget hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the room itself was separate. The location was incredible and ideal for Asheville, near downtown, Asheviile outlets, and restaurants. It also was right beside the outlet centre which was very handy.

The staff was very friendly. We came in soaking wet on the motorcycles and could hang up our Wet stuff in the breakfast room. I had lost my purse right before and the staff was very sweet about it We miissed fruit for breakfast and they got ys extra bananas after they cleaned up. Very nice!
Our room was right next to the elevator and I had requested a quiet room. It woke me up early every morning.

All around very nice - clean, friendly hard-working staff, good breakfast with extra seating available; convenient location to the Biltmore Estate, interstates, walk to Outlet Mall; small, but well-outfitted workout room. I would definitely stay here again!
When I booked, I thought I might have an opportunity to relax at the outdoor pool; but, it's located too close to the busy highway. A row of well-positioned trees, however, would provide sufficient privacy. Also, this hotel is no worse than most that offer and provide free WiFi - it was alternately okay, and, very slow at times. (But, if you want high-speed, you'll have to pay much more for a hotel and sometimes an additional fee.)

Strongly recommend for a weekend stopover
Comfortable suite, updated amenities, including a fully stocked fridge and microwave for a convenient stay, along with excellent wifi access for planning our city exploration.
Breakfast offerings could have been better.

It looked like a new hotel until you got into the room and realized it must have been a refurbished older hotel.

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our four day stay was very pleasant.
The breakfast room was a bit small for the number of guests staying here. Those who didn't fit were allowed to eat in a conference room.

great access to parks and biltmore estate for city strolls
During my three-night stay, I appreciated the easy access to both Carrier Park and the fine Biltmore Estate, especially as I love walking through beautiful landscapes and discovering landmarks. The staff was friendly too.

Breakfast was good. Had exclusive use of a nice meeting room for three days.
Could use a second elevator. The one elevator seemed overwhelmed, resulting in long wait times. No towel racks in bathroom. Rather expensive to stay there.

I missed the breakfast but I liked that coffee was available all day.
The room absolutely reeked of what, upon first entering the room, was vomit. My boyfriend thought it smelled like old chemicals/cleaning agents and staleness. Once we got into bed, we realized it was something they must have sprayed on the pillows (EXTREMELY offensive cologne-type odor)....it was so bad we had to move the top pillows to the couch...the other pillows had a faint odor of it but not nearly as strong. I had to lay a towel over the pillow mid-way through the night b/c I was obviously more sensitive to the smell. Our friends stayed at a VERY nice hotel and resort for $90 LESS than we paid for one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in years. I know it is just a comfort inn, but it was ABSURDLY overpriced. Do yourself a favor and if you need that area, stay across the street at one of the other hotels...or drive 10 minutes away and stay at the Crown Plaza Resort.

Excellent hotel with great wi-fi, a heated swimming pool, and 24-hour reception. I remember the staff helped me with water at night during my first stay. I highly recommend this hotel!
